Thales Defense & Security, Inc. has an opening for a fixed term (60 days) full-time Solder Assembler with a focus on conformal coating to work at our Clarksburg, Maryland Campus.
Ability to follow printed work instructions.
Ability to read schematics wiring diagrams and build assembly drawing along with MWI.
Able to handle small precision tools, hardware, etc.
Ability to properly sign in on correct PIDs, complete ESD testing, and follow all manufacturing guidelines and procedures.
Maintain a neat appearance in their work area, reducing FOD when possible.
Perform manual conformal coat or touch up on PWBs.
Ability to solder on most products in the factory.
Ability to interpret IPC-A-610 standards for acceptability and customer specifications.
Accountable for quality, quantity, and inspection of all work performed.
Ability to keep team lead informed of any build issues.
