    Thales Defense & Security, Inc. is currently seeking an energetic logistics coordinator at our Clarksburg, MD Campus. The position involves processing items within Customer database (Webcav) as well as through TDSI functional departments (contracts, PM, QA, etc…) This is the perfect for someone who likes a balance of being active and on the move (lifting, moving stuff, etc.) along with the reporting part of receiving that inventory.



    • Perform Webcav transactions in a timely manner, from receipt to shipment.

    • Be the Point of Contact to answer Customer Inquiries, resolve discrepancies or during annual inventory audits

    • Coordinate the processing of finished items: DD250 requests, UID/RFID labeling, packing, transfer between buildings

    • Manage storage of parts for related programs: enter material in stock, issue material to technicians, cycle counts.

    • Need to regularly lift and move shipments (20 – 40 pounds) in order to inspect and receive them.

    • Manage data storage in office and in LAN

    • Demonstrates support for company values and vision and embrace TDSI Core Values

    • Abide by all Company policies, procedures, guidelines and practices


    • US Citizenship Required

    • Must be able to obtain and maintain certification to use the US Navy WEBCAV system.

    • High school diploma or GED required; one year of experience in inventory control, customer service, clerical, accounting or related field required.

    • Experience with Microsoft Office Products – Word, Excel, Outlook.

    • Must be able to regularly lift and move materials, tubs, equipment of up to 40lbs.

    • Detail oriented and make good use their time.

    • Must have a see a problem – find a solution attitude.

    • Excellent English verbal, written, and comprehension skills

    • Physical ability to stand, climb, load, drive, bend etc. to perform the responsibilities of position.


    • 1-2 years of equivalent experience in stockroom/warehouse environment.

    • Knowledge of a MRP System/People Soft a plus.
