    We currently have an opening in our Clarksburg, MD office for a Part Time, Fixed-Term Resourcing Partner.  We anticipate this position in Early August and will run through mid-Dec.  This position reports directly to the Vice President of HR.

     

    The ideal candidate will have experience filling technical operations, engineering and support department positions.  Primary responsibilities are within the resourcing domain. 

    Responsibilities

    • Primary responsibility for resourcing responsibilities and during low resourcing periods, perform HR general responsibilities.
    • Understand technical job requirements, pre-screen for skills and understand how the skills are used on the job. Proficient at determining assessment criteria for candidates and ensure that hiring team’s objective input supports hiring decision.
    • Able to manage the full-cycle sourcing and  recruitment process including updating job descriptions, benchmarking, developing recruitment strategies, interviewing and making employment offers and building relationships with universities, professional and civic organizations.
    • Competent at seeking out diversity and delivering pre-qualified and potentially interested passive and active candidates to assigned areas of support and present to hiring manager in a consistent professional manner.
    • Able to manage conversations with candidates in order to comply with local, state and federal legislature (FSLA, ADA, HIPAA, USERRA, etc.).
    • Develops cost effective intern/college program to include campus relationship, technical, professionalism presentations or recruiting programs.
    • Support the Fall College/University Resourcing Programs.
    • Ultimately accountable for ensuring the delivery of output metrics covering: target start dates and customer satisfaction for all assigned hires
    • Own the delivery of all resourcing to ensure quality of hire, time to hire and cost of hire standards are met
    • Own the Hiring Manager relationship, coaching them through the resourcing process, their role within it, creating appropriate target lists and a compelling value proposition to sell to passive candidates.
    • Personally assess candidates’ qualifications and present robust shortlists with an appropriate mix of Internal, external, active and passive candidates. Quickly assess candidate roadblocks (i.e., personal issues that pose risk to company if discussed) to offer acceptance and proactively provide viable solutions that reduce time to hire days.
    • Maintain and develop attractive career site for company.
    • Champion the new 'search' based resourcing process where appropriate, clearly define Hiring Managers' roles and set performance expectations
    • Deliver formal and informal coaching to all levels of the organization, from senior members of the Leadership Team to first time Hiring Managers
    • Ensure hiring managers and interviewing team have had interview training.
    • Is capable of self-driven or project-based work; can be given a problem and will come back with solutions/answers without constant oversight.
    • Other HR duties and responsibilities as assigned.
    • Must be able to uphold, support and educate employees on the Thales Code of Ethics.

    • Maintain a high ethical standard of practice, including compliance with all company procedures.

    Qualifications

    • Candidate must be U.S. Citizen
    • 2-4 years resourcing experience – in a DoD/technical domain preferred.
    • ICIMS Applicant Tracking Assistance Experience
    • LinkedIn Recruiter – experience with creating projects
    • PeopleSoft or Oracle financial systems preferred.
    • Excellent organizational skills and work ethic
    • Effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
    • Ability to work in a team environment and interact with employees in all departments and functions
