    We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Research & Development (R&D) Marketing Intern in our Motion Tracking business in Billerica, MA.

     

    Augmented Reality (AR) with motion tracking capabilities is being used in everything from gaming, education, industrial and defense applications. Thales motion tracking products sense and track every move.

    Responsibilities

    This is role allows the right college student the opportunity to leverage her/his technical expertise with her/his passion for marketing.   This position reports to the Director of R&D and supports the R&D and Sales/Marketing teams in the following areas.

     

    • R&D Sales & Marketing Projects.
    • Provide input and assistance in developing new promotions that high light product line, services and features.
    • Basic unit quality testing.
    • Perform basic competitive analysis and prepare marketing and presentation materials
    • Support documentation and technical writing.
    • Provide thorough unit testing to ensure product quality
    • Support and participate in development of new promotions for products, services and features.
    • Update content on TVI/motion tracking website in compliance with TDSI policies.
    • Other assignments and projects supporting the motion tracking business.

    Qualifications

    • U.S. Citizenship or Residency
    • 2 years of completion of a technical or marketing degreed program.
    • Ability to create a college level white paper evaluating the growth opportunities, market analysis and technology trends and a competitive analysis.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Self –motivated, critical thinker with a technical background
    • Quantitative analytics knowledge desired
