Our Aurora IL office is seeking a Test Engineer. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, passionate about their work, and versatile enough to solve a wide variety of engineering problems.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and performing software test and automation involving definition and implementation of test and verification requirements, plans and sequences relative to complex software and hardware subsystems and resolve identified conflicting issues
  • Participate in software automated test readiness reviews
  • Participate in software design reviews
  • Conduct audits of test programs and facilities
  • Apply understanding of principles of related engineering and software technology to ensure test validity and integrity

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S Government Security Clearance. .
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related scientific discipline
  • 2+ years of software engineering experience
  • 2 to 3 years of experience as a Python developer
  • Working knowledge of D0-178 Design Assurance Level (DAL) Software Process is beneficial
  • Experience preparing and presenting reports and briefings both orally and written
  • Knowledge of or experience with architecture development
  • Knowledge or experience with embedded software design
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-discipline environment to produce deliverable products
  • Excellent English communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Developing scripts to support test efforts for the software build cycles
  • Preparing test procedures and test procedure execution
  • Utilizing discrepancy report systems
  • Working within Integrated Product Teams
  • Experience in writing and/or analyzing software requirements.
  • Must be willing to occasionally work overtime and weekends
