We seeking a full-time, permanent position Field Services Engineer to in our Visionix business located Aurora (Chicago), IL.   This fast growing segment is segment focused on augmented reality heads-up-display systems for consumer, medical and military industries. 

Responsibilities

  • Travel up to 80% of time supporting customer and partner product demonstrations.
  • Provide support to the engineering design team and other internal stakeholders.
  • Act as liaison and technical connection into the engineering organization.
  • Solve technical issues.
  • Keep engineering and business development stakeholders educated and abreast of emerging customer requirements and technologies.
  • Maintain a high ethical standard of practice, including compliance with all company procedures

Qualifications

  • US Citizenship with ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • This individual must be proficient or have the ability become proficient quickly in the operation of Visionix products and those devices and equipment to which our products interface including: host computers with various operating systems, and Helmet Mounted Display (HMD) technologies. 
  • A technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical systems and resolve technical issues
  • Proficient with hand tools and assembly techniques, and be capable of designing and assembling support structures.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office tools.
  • Working familiarity with Windows and Linux OS’.
  • Ability to travel (domestic and international) up to 80% of time.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
